Living in Albany Park is like living in a cultural melting pot. People from pretty much every corner of the world now call this Northwest Side neighborhood home. In fact, a portion of Lawrence Avenue has earned the moniker “Korea Town,” which you’ll find fitting as you stroll past the many Korean-owned shops and restaurants along “Seoul Drive.”
Besides its rich cultural diversity, Albany Park has more than its fair share of enchanting parks and gardens due to its location along the Chicago River. It is the home of the renowned Albany Park Theatre Project, and features easy access to the rest of the city and the loop via the Brown Line. Albany Park is truly and eclectic and exciting area that would be easy to call home.
